RANDY SAVAGE SIGNS DEAL WITH MATTEL AND WWE - 22nd July 2010

It was announced today at the San Diego Comic Con that Mattel have signed former WWE World Champion, "Macho Man" Randy Savage to be part of the official WWE Action Figures line.

This is a major win for Randy Savage fans as Savage's relationship with the WWE has been strained for years.

This will be the WWE's first Randy Savage figure since 1993!

Mattel also announced that the Ultimate Warrior will be part of that line up.

First and foremost you people who have worked maybe a few days or less than a few two or less years in the wrestling industry, you have know clue of what it takes to perform at the the highest level this industry has to offer. With that said, I can now call it not an industry, but a business. To come into the wrestling business and to stay for a a few days or a couple of years and say "I have lived my dream to be in wrestling." You all are a bunch of idiot morons. I live my dream every day for the last 34 years. I live it not a few weeks or a few months. But you turn around and say you are so glad you are away from WWE because you felt you were in prison. Yes I have had my issues with WWE but I never felt it was prison. WWE is a never ending grind to perform at the highest level. Ringo Starr said it best in a line of a song. "If you want to sing the blues, you have to pay your dues, cause you know it don't come easy."

For all you punks and punketts that want to play on the big stage, get your sh*t together or stay out of our business.

MARTHA HART SUES WWE / WWE RESPONDS - 22nd June 2010

In May of 1999 Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment held an even in Kansas City, Missouri. 16-thousand fans in the arena and countless more watching on pay-per-view saw wrestler Owen Hart fall to his death during a stunt gone bad.

Gregg Rubenstein, Attorney: "When a clip attached to a line lowering him from the ceiling of an arena 78 feet above the floor failed causing Owen to fall to his death."

Hart's widow, Martha, settled a wrongful death suit against WWE in 2000. She has now filed a new suit charging the company and its owners, Vince and Linda McMahon, with continuing to use her late husbands image in videos, online and in print in violation of his last contract.

Martha Hart, Owen Hart's Widow: "One must truly question the moral character of Vince and Linda McMahon and the manner in which they conduct their business. These same people who's dangerous exploitation of my husband lead to his death are exploiting him once again."

She says she wants nothing to do with WWE and will not allow them to use Owen Hart anymore. Linda McMahon is currently a republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut. Martha Hart says that doesn't mean anything to her.

Martha Hart, Owen Hart's Widow: "This has nothing to do with Linda's political career although, that said, certainly as a voter I would think that people should certainly question the moral character of this action."

She is asking the court to stop WWE from using her late husband in any way and she wants any money they've made from similar work in the past given to her.

The McMahon campaign has referred all questions on this to WWE. An attorney for the company says this nothing more than pure political orchestration... that the suit has nothing to do with the tragic accident in 1999. He adds that a similar suit filed in Canada, where Martha Hart's lives, was dismissed and she was ordered to pay WWE's legal fees.

HITMAN GONE FROM WWE - 22nd June 2010

Honkytonkman.net can confirm that Hall of Famer Bret Hart and the WWE have amicably parted ways for the time being. The Hitman is collecting an insurance policy from Lloyds of London who are said to be unhappy with Bret's recent physical involvement in WWE storylines.

Current storyline plans were changed last minute following the WWE Fatal Four Way PPV which resulted in Vince McMahon firing Bret Hart on RAW during an on-air storyline.

HTM RESPONDS TO UCW TOUR REMARKS - 6th May 2010

I am just as disappointed as you are that I was not on the wrestling show in your town. So you know the truth of the matter, the UCW promoter from Halifax and I had several disagreements during the course of the tour before St. John's. It was to the point where he and I could not coexist any longer so I decided it was in my best interest to depart from the tour. I know they told all the fans I was injured and could not be there, that is far from the truth. While that announcement was being made, I was on United Airlines flight 711 somewhere across America getting closer to my beloved valley of the sun, Phoenix, AZ.

Flight 711-Sounded like a winner at the crap tables in Vegas!

CHRISTY HEMME GETS ONE HELL OF A DEAL! - 10th April 2010

We have confirmed that Christy Hemme's new 3 year TNA contract is a shocker for the TNA divas.

Hemme has signed a 3 year deal with TNA worth $175'000 per year. That's a lot more than the $400 a match the recently released Awesome Kong received. Kong was also unable to get a raise from Dixie Carter which was the main reason for her frustration and eventual departure in TNA.

Eric Bischoff was instrumental in getting Hemme the deal which has left some TNA divas frustrated in the TNA locker room.

CHRIS KANYON SADLY PASSES AWAY 3rd April 2010

The HTM Team received a very sad call this morning to report that former WCW and WWE World Tag Team Champion, Chris Kanyon (Christopher Klucsaritis) sadly passed away last night.

NASTY BOYS EXCLUSIVE - DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE RELEASED - 1st April 2010

An update on our breaking news on Monday, "The Nasty Boys" Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags weren't informed by TNA of their release.

An upset Jerry Sags had no idea of their release from TNA and found out via the breaking news online.

Our TNA source has confimed that Eric Bischoff was instrumental in the release of the legendary tag team and neither him nor TNA management contacted the duo.

"The Nasty Boys" manager, the legendary Jimmy Hart, has not been released.

This is typical Bischoff treatment going back to his WCW days and very unprofessional move by TNA.

Dixie Carter has a lot to learn about the wrestling business and should publicy apologise on behalf of her company.

ERIC BISCHOFF TNA UPDATE / PLAYBOY WIFE - 1st April 2010

We can officially confirm that Eric Bischoff has no power at TNA.

Bischoff is strictly a "creative consultant" to Hogan and Carter and has no say on the internal dealings of TNA.

Bischoff recently disputed claims TNA were having financial troubles despite paying some of their vendors late. Bischoff would have no access to such information to dispute any claims of TNA's finances.

The bottom line is Dixie Carter could fire Eric Bischoff at anytime. With WWE demolishing TNA in the ratings, some within the TNA locker room think this will happen sooner than later.

On a side note Bischoff does have a way of making money away from wrestling via his wife.

On Loree Bischoff's official website the "Christian Life Coach" lists things she thinks we'd like to know about her in order to spend 100 bucks ordering an "A-Mazing" (as she calls it) Life Coaching session. These gems include "I love garlic" & "I naturally walk fast". Good to know.

What she forgets to mention to potential life challenged clients is her previous stint in Playboy. A photo of which we found and can be viewed here.

All those challenged Christians looking to learn from someone who can "naturally walk fast" may not find that "A-Mazing".

DIXIE CARTER COMMENTS ON 0.5 RATING & THE FANS RESPOND! - 31st March 2010

TNA President Dixie Carter seemed to think the retirement of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels was the main reason for TNA's ever bombing rating.

"Thank goodness he can only retire once...hopefully. Shawn, congrats on an amazing career!"

The vast majority of wrestling fans from 411mania.com however don't agree.

BUBBA DRAWS THE LOWEST SEGMENTS IN TNA HISTORY - 31st March 2010

Mr "Ratings" Bubba "The Love" Sponge drew one of the lowest rated segments in TNA history this week on TNA Impact, despite being included in the new "Wolfpac" clique.

After what can be described as one of the worst heel promo's in wrestling, Bubba drew a 0.5 rating which is a new record low for TNA.

Backstage word at TNA reports that Hulk Hogan is upset with Bubba's direction in the company which could lead to Bubba being the next drop off the TNA roster.

TNA DRAWS RECORD LOW RATING - 31st March 2010

This past weeks TNA Impact drew a record low 0.6 rating while being absolutely destroyed by the WWE's flagship show Monday Night Raw.

Raw posted a healthy 3.7 rating which featured the send off of "The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels.

Hulk Hogan in a classic political move from his WCW days, was barely on TNA's lackluster show as he knew TNA was going to take a pounding from a post Wrestlemania, Monday Night Raw.

NASTY BOYS FIRED FROM TNA - 30th March 2010

We can confirm that the Nasty Boys, Knobbs & Sags, have been released from TNA.

Knobbs was involved in an incident at a TNA gathering where Spike TV executives were also present.

Spike were said to be very unhappy with his behaviour which resulted in both being let go by TNA management.

WWE DESTROYS TNA ONCE AGAIN - 16th March 2010

WWE's flagship show Monday Night Raw destroyed TNA Impact! this week with a 3.7 rating to TNA's new low of 0.8.

TNA hasn't had a lower rating since 2006.

WWE's blockbuster show headlined by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Mr McMahon & Bret "The Hitman" Hart demolished TNA's main event of A.J Styles vs Jeff Hardy lowering TNA to a 0.75.

Eric Bischoff's spin last week of the demographics being higher won't cut it this week as the demo's were down in TNA's recent outing.

Hulk Hogan was the highest part of the show reaching the mid 0.9's whilst Bischoff who was scattered throughout has to face dwindling ratings. Impact dropped from quarter hour to quarter hour, especially in the segments featuring Bischoff.

Ouch!

VENTURA - BISCHOFF'S A LIAR! - 16th March 2010

Wrestling reporter James Guttman interviewed Jesse Venutra yesterday at ClubWWI.com.

Eric Bischoff, has spoken about the former Minnesota governor in less than glowing terms in his book. In fact, he had claimed that Ventura was let go from WCW for missing shows and actually sleeping when he should have been working. JG asks the Body about this and it's all news to Jesse…

"That's a complete lie. They blackballed…you mean when I was at TBS?"

JG responds that it was and how Eric's story for letting Ventura go was that he was nowhere to be found when they reached show time, only to find him sleeping.

"That is a complete lie. You want to know what happened? They were bringing Hogan in and he didn't want me there. So for four months I never got a call to come to work. They never sent me a ticket to Atlanta. Anybody who gives Eric Bischoff any shred of credibility is insane. That's the biggest lie I've heard. Anybody who's talked to me knows that I'm committed to everything I do. I don't sleep at things and not show up to things. How can I be a governor if I had that type of attitude?"

"I didn't even know he wrote anything like that. That's so absurd, it's ridiculous. Hogan didn't want me there because we had our falling out. He was coming in as the big power broker, which I didn't know about, and the minute he came in, they allowed the last four months of my contract to (run out) - I mean, they paid me - they just allowed it to go into the sunset. If he wrote I was sleeping or didn't show up for something, that is a complete lie. Go back in my wrestling career. Did I ever miss matches? Did I ever not show up? The only time was when I was struck down with pulmonary emboli in San Diego, where I was near death and seven days critical in the hospital before I was supposed to wrestling Hogan, but I think I can get a pass on that?"

HTM CALLS OUT JIM ROSS - 13th March 2010

(The following is a response from the HTM after Jim Ross stated that Jesse Ventura's comment about Hogan having a bigger Wrestlemania payday than all the guys on the card combined, was false)

Jim I don't buy your comment about Jesse, you weren't even working for WWE till Wrestlemania 9.

Those payout documents are confidential. How do you have them?

HOGAN HEEL TURN / BISCHOFF COMMENTS ON 1.0 RATING - 12th March 2010

The original plan for last Monday's TNA Impact was for Hulk Hogan to go heel.

TNA officials were forced to change this at the last minute due to them wanting to bring Sting back into the fold. Sting needed to come back with a bang on Monday night or he wasn't going to appear at all. Sting isn't happy that Hogan and Bischoff were brought in to TNA.

Eric Bischoff continued to spin the dire TNA rating today with the following statement on his official Facebook account:

"On the contrary, we are all convinced (as are most fans) that we proved definitively that we can produce a superior product. While it is going to take some time (and consistency) to gain the market share we hope to gain, we are thrilled with the product we presented, and are more than excited about the future."

What Bischoff is trying to say is WWE kicked my a** and there's no way I can spin this disaster. If you had a superior product, WWE wouldn't of destroyed TNA on Monday night. Even worse, if most fans agreed with you they wouldn't of been tuned into USA Network!

What has to be killing Hogan and Bischoff is that on paper they have a great roster and can't even draw a better rating than a WWE replay.

HOGAN VS RUSSO - 12th March 2010

Hulk Hogan and Vince Russo are amongst a backstage war in TNA.

Russo's camp are accusing Hogan of not being able to draw a good number, whilst Hogan is firing back that Russo isn't writing him good material.

Hogan is also hit and miss in the upcoming pre-taped Impact which will be aired Monday against a blockbuster WWE Monday Night Raw.

Like an old trick from his WCW days, Hogan takes himself off TV so he can't be blamed for the rating.

The truth is Hogan can't draw a rating without McMahon and Vince Russo can't write a decent show without McMahon.

Monday Night, TNA will be scrambling as the return of "Stone Cold' Steve Austin in the rnig with Bret "Hitman" Hart and Mr McMahon is a sure fire way to destroy TNA's second outing.

Flair didn't want to do the match with Hogan last Monday night and is very unhappy how the match went.

Having only joined the company months ago, Flair has to be pissed he bailed out on his WWE role.

Flair had the biggest send off in recent history and WWE put him over as one of the biggest of all time.

WWE had never done a send off like that in company history and Flair's just put all that into the crapper with TNA.

Flair upset backstage is just in addition to the sinking morale within TNA after WWE destroyed them this past Monday night.

VALENTINE SUING PROMOTER - 12th March 2010

Greg Valentine is reportedly suing an indy promoter over a leg injury.

This is same Valentine who is getting a bad rep on the Indy circuit for double booking himself and taking whoever gives him the most money, leaving the other promoter screwed.

Not only that, Valentine has been known to bad mouth other wrestlers to promoters to try and secure himself on the card.

HULKAMANIA GOES DOWN UNDER! - 11th March 2010

The Hogan promoter who ran the "Hulkamania" tour in Australia last year has gone bust.

Due to poor ticket sales and attendance, the promoter has gone out of business putting the final legrop on the "Hulkamania" tour.

The Hogan show was filmed and due to be shown on TV as well as a DVD released worldwide.

Our source tells us that due to Hogan being owed money from the tour he's given the DVD the big boot!

TNA RATING 1.0 OUCH - 9th March 2010

Just as HTM predicted the TNA rating is down and was demolished by WWE. They couldn't even hold their own audience.

TNA drew a 1.0 down from Thursday's 1.14 continuing the weekly ratings decline in the Bischoff and Hogan era.

As for Bubba telling people "Bubba = Ratings" his segment quarter hr was rock bottom! Ouch!

For Bischoff saying HTM can't draw. HTM's segment on RAW last year garnered a 3.7 rating.

TNA is dead in the water. Giving TNA 12 months was probably 6 months too many.

WWE headlines with Wrestlemania rematches next week and the return of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Add to that the McMahon, Bret Hart contract signing, TNA's taped show of Hardy vs Styles can't compete.

So much for the "war".
